Each employee on a walking/working surface installing plywood to block windows (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower were not  protected from falling by using a guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a.) On or about August 18, 2023, at 9 Barstow Road, GREAT NECK PLAZA, NY 11021.  Employee working on an existing building 2nd floor edge approximately 30 feet above the lower level installing plywood on windows were not protected from falling to the lower level.  Abatement Certification is not required pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19.
