29 CFR 1926.451(b)(1): Each platform on all working levels of scaffolds shall be fully planked or decked between the front uprights and the guardrail supports as follows: a) Rear brewery building located at 1920 Freedom Pkwy., Cumming, GA 30040: On or about 08/09/2023, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 15-feet to the lower ground level, in that the scaffold work platforms were not fully decked to prevent falls to the lower ground level as employees were engaged in masonry activities.

29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1): When scaffold platforms are more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from another scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface shall be used. Cross braces shall not be used as a means of access. a) Rear brewery building located at 1920 Freedom Pkwy., Cumming, GA 30041: On or about 08/09/2023, the employer exposed employees fall hazards while performing masonry activities of approximately 15-feet to the lower ground level, in that a safe means of egress was not provided as employees climbed the masonry walk-thru scaffold frames to access each working level and ground.
