29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about August 24, 2023, employees were performing framing activities without the use of fall protection. This exposed employees to fall hazards greater than six (6) feet to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed. On or about August 24, 2023, employees were in use of a ladder and the siderails did not extend at least 3 feet above the landing surface. This exposed employees to a fall hazard.
