29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): The employer permitted employees to work in close proximity to energized, electric power circuits that the employee could contact in the course of their work: (a) On or about 8/24/2023, 10 Casia St San Juan, PR 00921, Zone 5 - Office A251, employees were removing chilled water pipes and a return pipeline, inches from energized electrical conduits, exposing employees to electrical hazards. NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item, as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.
