29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders were used for purposes other than the purposes for which they were designed: a) Jobsite: Employees were observed in two instances of using ladders incorrectly. The employees had a ladder being used as a work platform on the pump jack scaffolding, it was laid down horizontally. A second employee was standing on a blue 5 foot step ladder that was in a folded position leaning up against the residential structure. Abatement Certification Required for this Violation.
