Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to electrical and fire hazards from improper use of temporary wiring around the bandsaw. (a) The Bug Company Hellertown, PA - On or about August 30, 2023, employees were exposed to electrical shock and fire hazards from temporary wiring not being used per labeling and listing requirements. The temporary wiring, powering the grizzly bandsaw, is susceptible to damage.
