29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  a)  At Highway 90, Christian Brothers Automotive, Daphne, Alabama:  On  August 31, 2023; the employer allowed his employees to perform framing activities from the top plate of the standing walls without fall protection exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 14 feet 3 inches to the ground below.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  a)  At Highway 90, Christian Brothers Automotive, Daphne, Alabama:  On  August 31, 2023; the employer allowed his employees to use an extension ladder to gain access to the top plate of the framed wall and the rails of the ladder did not extend at least three feet above the top plate to provide safe access exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 14 feet 3 inches to the ground below.
