29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition:  a) PET Grinding Area:  The area where plastic grinding was performed had hazardous accumulations of combustible plastic dust located on the walls, ceiling and roof structures, and product containers, on or about August 31, 2023.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION RECQUIRED  The employer, PGA Incorporated was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard, 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1551133, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on April 1, 2022, with respect to a workplace located 185 South Street, Freeland, PA 18224.

29 CFR  1910.1200(f)(1)(vi): The chemical manufacturer, importer, or distributor did not ensure that each container of classified hazardous chemicals leaving the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the name, address, and telephone number of the chemical manufacturer, importer, or other responsible party:   a) PGA Incorporated: The establishment produced and sold polyethylene terephthalate (PET) flake, and the employer did not ensure that the chemicals leaving the workplace were labeled, tagged or marked with the establishment's address and telephone number, on or about June 24, 2022.   ABATED DURING INSPECTION NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED  The employer, PGA Incorporated was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard, 29 CFR  1910.1200(f)(1)(vi), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1604010, citation number 2, item number 2a, and was affirmed as a final order on January 17, 2023, with respect to a workplace located 185 South Street, Freeland, PA 18224.  The employer, PGA Incorporated was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200 (f)(6)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1551133, citation number 1, item number 4c, and was affirmed as a final order on April 1, 2022, with respect to a workplace located 185 South Street, Freeland, PA 18224.
