29 CFR 1910.101(b):"Compressed gases." The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks shall be in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in Sec. 1910.6. Section 3.3.1 of the CGA Pamphlet P-1-1965 refers to storing cylinders in accordance with CGA and NFPA standards. The CGA Pamphlet P-1-1991 Section 3.7.4.1 states that "All compressed gas cylinders in service or in storage shall be secured to prevent from falling." NBVC Lanes Kitchen: In front of the kitchen electrical panel, two compressed nitrogen cylinders were upright and unsecure from displacement. The cylinders were directly in front of an electrical panel blocking its access and was used as an apron rack. Employees were exposed to struck- by and electrical shock hazards.
