Reference: ANSI Z358.1 Emergency Eyewash and Shower Standard 5.4.4 The eyewash unit shall be located on the same level as the hazard and the path of travel shall be free of obstructions that may inhibit the immediate use of the equipment. Kitchen: On and/or before August 28, 2023, employees used corrosive spray degreasers such as Ecolab Grease Express High Temp Grill Cleaner Degreaser where an emergency eyewash station was not available for immediate use which potentially exposed employees to retinal and corneal burns.
