(a) Worksite: On or about 09/05/2023, an employee was exposed to struck-by hazards to the eyes or face from flying particles while cutting brick using a stationary masonry saw without the use of appropriate eye or face protection.

29 CFR 1926.1153(c)(1): For each employee engaged in a task identified on Table 1, the employer did not fully and properly implement the engineering controls, work practices, and respiratory protection specified for the task on Table 1. (a) Worksite: On or about 09/05/2023, an employee was exposed to respirable silica dust while performing brick cutting with a stationary masonry saw without the use of engineering controls, work practices, and respiratory protection specified for the task on Table 1 section (i), in that the saw was not maintained and utilized in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
