29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets. On or about September 5, 2023, employees were working under or adjacent to the falling object area below the roofers and items being hoisted by a crane. As a result, they were not protected from falling objects by using head protection, exposing employees to struck-by hazards.
