OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushing hazards when using a vehicle lift that had not been inspected by a qualified person for over two years and had numerous broken strains on the lifting cable.   Location 1 : Bay 4 lift #2 On or about 9/1/2023, employees using a Rotary 10,000 lb. capacity lift serial number CNP10A0027 were exposed to a crushing hazard when the lift had not been inspected by a qualified person.  Location 2: Bay 4 lift #3 On or about 9/1/2023, employees using a Rotary 10,000 lb. capacity lift serial number AFM97D1350 were exposed to a crushing hazard when the lift had not been inspected by a qualified person.  Location 3: Bay 3 lift #1 On or about 9/1/2023, employees using a Rotary 10,000 lb. capacity lift serial number NFF13I0062 were exposed to a crushing hazard when the lift had not been inspected by a qualified person.

29 CFR  1910.22(a)(2):29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2): The employer did not ensure that the  floor of each workroom is maintained in a clean and, to the extent feasible, in a dry condition. The employer did not ensure that when wet processes are used, drainage is be maintained and, to the extent feasible, dry standing places, such as false floors, platforms, and mats are provided.  Location: Lower level pit area on or about 9/1/2023, employees were exposed  to a slip/fall hazard when the floor in the lower level under the East stairway was not kept dry to the extent feasible.   Grease Monkey International, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.22(a)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1522224, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/17/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 808 Willowbrook Drive Hinesville, Ga 31313.
