29 CFR 1910.23(b)(8): The employer did not ensure that ladders are used only for the purposes for which they were designed. a) On or about August 24, 2023at the Igreja Pentecostal O Brasil para Cristo 4559 34th St, Orlando, FL 32811 tenant space, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that A-Frame Ladder spreaders were not locked to access the mezzanine floor while performing maintenance on the air conditioning duct. Employee left the A-Frame ladder in a closed position and against a wall to access the mezzanine floor.

The employer did not ensure that all fall protection and falling object protection required by this section meet the criteria in � 1910.29, except that personal fall protection systems required by this section meet the criteria of � 1910.140. a) On or about August 24, 2023at the Igreja Pentecostal O Brasil para Cristo 4559 34th St, Orlando, FL 32811 tenant space, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees accessing the mezzanine floor at a height of approximate 12-feet to the ground while performing maintenance on the air conditioning duct.
