29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(iii): Special hand tools for placing and removing material(s) was not provided to permit easy handling of material without the operator placing a hand in the danger zone: On or about August 31, 2023, in the meat department, employees were exposed to amputation hazards while operating a Biro Model 3334 power meat saw without using the pusher plate. Progreso LMMM San Antonio #10, LLC dba La Michoacana Meat Market was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(iii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1525692, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 14, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 6059 La Cima, San Antonio, TX, 78229.
