29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift: a) 705 Branch Ave., Little Silver, NJ: Employees were utilizing a LGMG Articulated Boom lift to seal flashing on a roof and were not connected to the basket with a personal arrest system. The employees were at a height of approximately 37 feet above the ground. Observed on or about 09/06/23. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
