29 CFR 1926.416(e)(1): Worn or frayed electric cords or cables were used: Site: 98-14 66th Avenue, Rego Park, NY 11374. On or about September 07, 2023, employee engaged in stripping plywood during new building construction was using a frayed extension cord. This condition expose employee to electrical shock hazards. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.502(i)(3): All covers were not secured when installed so as to prevent accidental displacement by the wind, equipment, or employees: a) Site: On or about September 07, 2023, at 98-14 66th Avenue, Rego Park, NY 11374. A floor hole cover measuring approximately 1-feet long and 1-feet wide that was made of lumber on the ground floor, was not secured. This condition exposes employees to trip and fall hazards. Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.ees to trip and fall hazard.
