OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that the saw blade furnished by the employer for use with the equipment was not designed/used as intended: On or about September 7, 2023, and at least a week prior, the DeWalt 14-inch chop saw (model no. D28715) located on the east wall of Building 117-17 next to the entry door, was not furnished with a saw blade designated for use with this type of equipment. On September 05, 2023, while in the process of operating the DeWalt chop saw (model no. D28715) to cut cardboard tubes, a sub-contracted employee was injured when inadvertent contact was made with the rotating blade.
