The employer did not ensure that if the correction or repair cannot be made immediately, the hazard is guarded to prevent employees from using the walking-working surface until the hazard is corrected or repaired.  Location: Jobsite  The employer exposed employees to tripping hazards where a grate was removed and employee's fell into a hole.  The area was not secured so that employees could not enter the work zone. On or about 8/28/2023, an employee was cleaning a strainer and stepped back into the floor hole, causing burns to the right foot. At the same time a maintenance employee had removed the drain covers in order to clean out the drain.
