29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14): Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chutes attached), where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening is less than 39 inches (1.0 M) above the walking/working surface, is not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. At a worksite located at 3250 SW Pergola Avenue, Lee's Summit, MO, an employee was exposed to fall hazards. The employer exposed the employee to these hazards by allowing them to perform work from a wall opening where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening was greater than 6 feet above the next lower level.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): At a worksite located at 3250 SW Pergola Avenue, Lee's Summit, MO, an employee was exposed to fall hazards while performing residential construction activities. The employer exposed the employee to these hazards by allowing them to work at heights greater than 6 feet without the use of fall protection. D & D Framing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1588948, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 9/07/2022, with respect to a workplace located at Lots 44 and 43 NW Hilltop Lane, Grain Valley, MO.
