1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe condition(s) and the regulation(s) applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazard(s) or other exposure to illness or injury. Location: Second floor of existing structure where underlying floor joists were cut from the first floor. On 9/14/2023, second floor joists were removed from the first floor and work commenced on the second floor to remove the remainder of the second floor over the removed joists. During this operation, the weakened floor structure which was not marked or guarded.
