29 CFR 1926.451(b)(10): Scaffold components manufactured by different manufacturers were intermixed not allowing the components to fit together to maintain the scaffold's structural integrity. On or about September 20, 2023, Gergs Construction, L.L.C. intermixed scaffold frames from at least 2 different manufacturers on a frame scaffold at a worksite located at 1304 Sidney Street in St. Louis, Missouri.

29 CFR 1926.452(c)(2): Frames and panels were not braced by cross, horizontal, or diagonal braces, or a combination thereof, which would secure vertical members together laterally, and the cross braces were not of such length as would automatically square and align vertical members so that the erected scaffold would always be plumb, level, and square. All brace connections were not secured. On or about September 20, 2023, Gergs Construction, L.L.C. did not ensure that the frames of a supported frame scaffold at 1304 Sidney Street in St. Louis, Missouri, were braced by cross, horizontal, or diagonal braces, or a combination thereof, which would secure vertical members together laterally. The scaffold was missing crossbracing in the following areas of the scaffold: A) On the wall-facing side of the fourth section on the first tier. B) On the wall-facing and outer side of the fifth section on the fourth tier. C) On the wall-facing and outer side of the first section on the fourth tier.
