Employees were exposed to hazards that required the use of personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, eye protection, hand protection, and respiratory protection.

29 CFR 1910.133(a)(5): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used equipment with filter lenses that had a shade number appropriate for the work being performed for protection from injurious light radiation: a) Battery Builders, LLC located at 31 W 238 91st St., Naperville, IL 60564: On or about September 22, 2023, and at times prior to, the employer did not ensure employees conducting torch brazing operations wore eye protection with appropriate shading exposing employees to light radiation up to nine hours per day.
