29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) 142 Riverview Street, Steelton PA; on the roof - On or about September 25, 2023, the employer did not ensure employees were utilizing a means of fall protection while installing solar panels on a 5 and 12 pitch roof which was between 16 and 20 feet above the grade. Sustainable Energy Systems, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.503(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1588047, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 30, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 4 Chloe Drive, Myerstown, PA, 17067. Sustainable Energy Systems, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.503(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1574983, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on August 23, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 2010 Channing Street, NE, Washington D.C., 20018. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
