Construction materials used to separate an exit from other parts of the workplace did not have a one-hour fire resistance-rating:  (a) Lab:  On or about October 11, 2023, the exit leading from the lab to outside, was not separated by fire resistant materials with a one-hour fire resistance rating, due to having painted wood paneling.  (b) Mechanical and Storage Room:  On or about October 11, 2023, the escape ladder leading from the mechanical and storage room to the floor upstairs, was not separated by fire resistant materials with a one-hour fire resistance rating.
