On or about 3 October 2023, two employees of CA Jones were working on a scaffold working on a residential home located at 283 Crestfield Court in Saint Charles, Missouri. The employer did not ensure that the end of a platform greater than 10 feet in length extending over its support more than 18 inches was installed so that the end of the platform was able to support the employee without tipping or had a guardrail that blocked employee access to the cantilevered end.

Jones was previously citied for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1616548, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on10/12/2022, with respect to a workplace located on Lot #12 Orchard Lakes Circle in Belleville, IL 62226
