29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: Battery Room: Employees were limited to access the eye wash station required when maintaining forklift batteries containing sulfuric acid. The route to the eye wash station was impeded by material handling equipment that was stored, or broken and not easily moved.

29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): Work rest(s) on grinding machinery were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch: BEM Shop: Employees were exposed to potential eye lacerations when using the Dewalt DW758 Bench Grinder. The gap between the work rest and grinder wheel was three eights of an inch.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment: Battery Room: Employees were exposed to potential electric shock & burn hazards from lack of access to the overhead crane 480 V emergency shut off switch. The shut off switch was blocked by a forklift parked at a battery charging station.
