29 CFR 1910.307(c): Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous (classified) locations were not intrinsically safe, approved for the hazardous (classified) location, or safe for the hazardous (classified) location: WORKSHOP/TRADE SHOP: On/or about October 4, 2023, the electrical equipment, such as (but not limited to) electrical outlet installed and used throughout in workshop to power the DeWalt double bevel compound miter saw was neither approved nor intrinsically safe for the Class II Division 2 hazardous location. The miter saw was used to cut wood to manufacture crates generating combustible wood dust which was allowed to accumulate. ABATED DURING THE INSPECTION.
