29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1):  Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut.   a) 270 Commerce Dr, New Holland, PA 17557 - Employees were operating a JET 10" Tilting Arbor Saw XACTA Saw Deluxe Table saw (serial number 8060095) to rip cut MDF board and the saw blade was not equipped with an adjustable hood guard, on or about September 8, 2023.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedure, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative:  a) 270 Commerce Dr, New Holland, PA 17557 - Employees were performing machine set-up and maintenance without utilizing an energy control program consisting of energy control procedures, employee training, and periodic inspections, on or about October 5, 2023  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

No abatement certification or documentation required.
