29 CFR  1926.150(c)(1)(vi): A fire extinguisher, rated not less than 10B, was not provided within 50 feet of wherever more than 5 gallons of flammable or combustible liquids or 5 pounds of flammable gas were being used on the jobsite:  a) Fenced storage area: On or about October 5, 2023, employees were exposed to fire hazards when storing and using approximately 12 gallons of gasoline due to a lack of any fire extinguishers on the worksite.  Abatement certification required.

29 CFR 1926.552(a)(1): The employer did not comply with manufacturer's specifications and limitations applicable to the operation of all hoists and elevators:  a) Building rear, 900 N. Township Blvd., Pittston, PA 18640: On or about October 3, 2023, employees, performing roofing tasks, were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 28 feet due to using a ladder hoist that was not designed for personnel to climb to the roof of the building.  b)  Building rear, 900 N. Township Blvd., Pittston, PA 18640: On or about October 3, 2023, employees, performing roofing tasks, were exposed to struck-by hazards when hoisting materials on a ladder hoist due to the use of improper fasteners when constructing the hoist.  c) Building rear, 900 N. Township Blvd., Pittston, PA 18640: On or about October 3, 2023, employees, performing roofing tasks, were exposed to struck-by hazards when hoisting materials on a ladder hoist, due to the lack of the use of a telescopic support brace, as required by the manufacturer, when the ladder hoist was assembled with over 36 feet of track.  Abatement certification and documentation required.
