29 CFR  1910.106(e)(2)(iv)(d):Flammable liquids were not drawn from or transferred into vessels, containers, or portable tanks within a building only through a closed piping system, from safety cans, by means of a device drawing through the top, or from a container or portable tanks by gravity through an approved self-closing valve:  a)	Metal Litho & Laminating LLC dba RSI Metal Litho Greenville, Wash-out area, on or about October 5th, 2023 and times prior thereto:  Employees were dispensing a category 2 flammable liquid (TR PM Blend-Acetone, MEK, Butyl Acetate) in order to fill 5 gallon buckets, as part of a coat thinning process.  The dispensing valve for the flammable liquid was not self-closing.   ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.106(e)(6)(ii): A Category 2 flammable liquids with a flashpoint below 100 degrees Fahrenheit (37.8 degrees Celsius) was dispensed into containers without the nozzle and container electrically interconnected:  a)	Metal Litho & Laminating LLC dba RSI Metal Litho Greenville, Wash-out area, on or about October 5th, 2023 and times prior thereto:  Employees were dispensing a category 2 flammable liquid (TR PM Blend-Acetone, MEK, Butyl Acetate) from a 55-gallon drum, in order to fill 5-gallon container as part of a coat thinning process.  The 55-gallon drum was not bonded to the 5-gallon container in order to provide dissipation of static electricity while dispensing the flammable liquid.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR  1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:  a)	Metal Litho & Laminating LLC dba RSI Metal Litho Greenville, Various production areas, on or about October 5th, 2023 and times prior thereto:  Employees work with and around corrosive chemicals including, but not limited to, a Copper sulfate solution.  Two self-contained eyewash units were available in the area adjacent to the use of the copper sulfate solution, however, the two units were not maintained in compliance with ANSI Z358.1-1998 for Emergency Eyewash and Shower Equipment in that: 	 1. Weekly inspections of the self-contained eye-wash units were not conducted. The emergency eyewash units were not inspected weekly to verify proper levels of the flushing fluid.    ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
