Also, generic statements such as "release any stored energy" and "go to the bus bar and pull disconnect off for the required machine" were used in the procedures without identifying whether there was a potential for stored energy and the means necessary for releasing the stored energy, or identifying the appropriate bus bar disconnect. 29 CFR  1910.147(d)(4)(i): Lockout or tagout devices were not affixed to each energy isolating device by authorized employees:  a) On or about 10/05/2023 in the manufacturing areas; where employees performing servicing/maintenance on horizontal band saws did not unplug the machines(and control the plug) while performing servicing/maintenance such as changing the blade on the band saws. Also, the documented energy control procedures for some pieces of equipment such as, but not limited to CNC machines directed the authorized employee to "go to the bus bar and pull disconnect off for the required machine". The employees performing the servicing and maintenance were not utilizing the bus bar for deenergizing the machines.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
