OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards, due to an inappropriate method of cribbing used to balance a telescoping boom lift. (a) At the worksite: On or about 10/10/2023, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 50 feet while working from the basket of a telescoping boom lift that was balanced by raising its rear wheels using an inappropriate method and materials as cribbing.
