Employee sampling data showed exposure of 58 ug/m3 and 82 ug/m3, calculated as an 8-hour TWA, which are 1.17 to 1.63 times greater than the PEL of 50 ug/m3.  Employee exposure to respirable silica may result in an increased risk of developing serious silica-related diseases, including Silicosis, lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and kidney disease.  Tuscany Enterprises Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.1053(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1552047 citation number 1, item number 8a, and was affirmed as a final order on March 24, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 1960 W Bates Ave, Englewood, CO 80011.
