29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: Location: attic of house addition On or about: 10/6/23 b) An employee, taking measurements for the framing of a residential building addition, was not provided with any means of fall protection. The employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 8 feet 10 inches to the first floor and 12 1/2 ft. to the ground below. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
