29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): When the employer had assessed the workplace hazard(s) and determined that hazard(s) were present, the employer did not select and/or use the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employees from the hazard(s): a) Acid plant - On or about October 3, 2023, and at times prior, employees were exposed to chemical hazards in that, the employer failed to ensure to select and use the appropriate types of personal protective equipment that would protect employees engaged in line breaking and pipe installation while working with hazardous chemicals such as, but limited to, Sulfuric Acid (corrosive).
