29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: At a worksite located at 900 NW Jefferson Street, Grain Valley, MO, 64029, employees were exposed to fall hazards. The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to perform construction work on the roof of a structure without fall protection or mitigation measures. These hazards were most recently observed on 10/17/2023. Instances of exposure include but are not limited to: Instance 1: Employees were exposed to fall hazards due to the potential for falling off of the southern edge of the structures roof and to the ground below. Instance 2: Employees were exposed to fall hazards due to the potential for falling off of the eastern edge of the structures roof and to the ground below.
