29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: a) On or about October 19, 2023, at the break room area. A six-outlet relocatable power tap/power strip surge protector, model BBE106000-04 (15- amp) was used in place of fixed firing to provide power to a DeLonghi toaster-oven, Cocina Criolla sandwich toaster, and a Nespresso espresso machine, exposing employees to an electrical hazard. NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.

29 CFR 1910.305(b)(2)(i): Pull boxes, junction boxes, and fittings were not provided with covers approved for the purpose: a. On or about October 19, 2023, at the Director's office. An electrical receptacle used as power source for computer monitor equipment was not fully-covered with a face plate cover. The two-outlets electrical receptacle in use had its cover lose, exposing one outlet. NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer within 24 hours of the inspection.
