29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):"Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about October 11, 2023 an employee was exposed to falls from heights greater than 21 feet while conducting commercial gutter installation construction. The employee was no protected from falls while performing this work. The employee fell from the roof causing injury. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)
