29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   At a worksite located at 1601 Morning Dove Ct, Columbia, MO 65201, employees were exposed to fall hazards.  The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to work without fall protection at heights greater than 6 feet.  These hazards were most recently observed on 10/18/2023.  Instances of exposure include but are not limited to:  Instance 1:  Employees were exposed to fall hazards from the edge of the roof to the next lower level while working on the northern section of the structures roof.  Instance 2:  Employees were exposed to fall hazards from the edge of the roof to the next lower level while working on the eastern section of the structures roof.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  At a worksite located at 1601 Morning Dove Ct, Columbia, MO 65201, employees were exposed to fall hazards.  The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to use ladders to access a roof while the side rails of the ladder did not extend at least 3 feet above the level to which it was being used to gain access.   This hazard was most recently observed on 10/18/2023.  Instances of exposure include but are not limited to:   Instance 1:  A ladder used to access the northeast section of the structures roof while the side rails did not extend at least 3 feet above the level to which it was being used to gain access.   Instance 2:  A ladder used to access the eastern section of the structures roof while the side rails did not extend at least 3 feet above the level to which it was being used to gain access.
