29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles.  At a worksite located at Lot 50 on SW Hawthorn Rd, Blue Springs, MO 64014, employees were exposed to eye injury hazards.  The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to utilize a pneumatic nail gun without the use of appropriate eye protection.  This hazard was most recently documented on 10/19/2023.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   At a worksite located at Lot 50 on SW Hawthorn Rd, Blue Springs, MO 64014, employees were exposed to fall hazards while performing construction activities.  The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to work at heights greater than 6 feet without the use of fall protection or mitigation measures in place.  This hazard was most recently documented on 10/19/2023.  Instances of exposure include but are not limited to:  Instance 1:  Employees were exposed to fall hazards from the edge of the roof to the next lower level while working on the southern section of the structures roof.  Instance 2:  Employees were exposed to fall hazards from a windowsill to the next lower level while standing on a windowsill in the southern wall of the structure.
