29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system. (a) Top of exterior framed walls - On or about October 20, 2023, the employer instructed two employees to help him layout the roof rafters while walking along the top of the new 2x4 framed exterior house walls without the use of any type of fall protection exposing employees to fall hazards.
