29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with paragraph (b) or (c) of this section: a. At 54002 Deerfield Country Club Road in Callahan, Florida: On or about October 19, 2023, the employer exposed employees to excavation wall cave-in hazards, in that an adequate protective system was not utilized by employees, while working in a 12.5-foot-deep trench.
