(a) Production Area: On or about 10/23/2023, employees were exposed to caught-in hazards while operating the Jet 6" bench grinder with an out of adjustment work rest opening measuring approximately 1 inch away from the abrasive wheel. (b) Production Area: On or about 10/23/2023, employees were exposed to caught-in hazards while operating the DeWalt DW758 8" bench grinder with the work rest opening measuring approximately 3/8 of an inch away from the abrasive wheel. American Tool Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1521804, citation number 001, item number 03b and was affirmed as a final order on 9/15/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 623 Washington Highway, Lincoln, RI 02865.
