29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On or about October 23, 2023, employees conducting carpentry rough framing work on the second level of a new residential home were not using fall protection. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 12 feet from second level to the ground below on the southwest side of home, and a fall hazard of approximately 16 feet from the second level to the ground below on the northeast side of home.
