29 CFR 1926.502(d)(17): The attachment point of the body harness was not located in the center of the wearer's back near shoulder level, or above the wearer's head: a) On or about October 23, 2023, the front nylon straps of body harnesses were used as attachment points for fall protection on pitched roof surfaces. Roof Damage Solutions LLC., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.502(d)(17) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1628174, citation 1, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on March 14, 2022, with respect to a worksite located at 4717 N. Hastings Court, Appleton, Wisconsin. No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.
