29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: Throughout the store: On or about October 24, 2023, the employer exposed employees to chemical hazards in that, training on hazard communication was not provided to employees using chemicals, such as, but not limited to, bleach, Buckeye Eco Floor Cleaner, Buckeye Eco Odor Eliminator, and Buckeye Eco Multi-Purpose Glass Cleaner. Great Plains Enterprises, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1657331, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on June 26, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 4200 Mountain Home Street, Building 603, Nellis AFB, Nevada.
