29 CFR  1910.1200(g)(8):  The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work  shift to employees when they were in their work area(s)  At the jobsite located at  16594 W. 165th place Olathe, Kansas, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to hazardous chemicals including but not limited to  diesel, which is a skin, eye, and lung irritant, may depress the central nervous system and cause liver enlargement. The employer did not maintain copies of the safety data sheets for diesel.

29 CFR  1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:   At the jobsite located at 16594 W. 165th place Olathe, Kansas, employees performing residential framing activities were exposed to hazardous chemicals including but not limited to diesel, which is a skin, eye, and lung irritant, may depress the central nervous system and cause liver enlargement. The employees had not been provided with information and training on how to recognize, avoid and/or eliminate the hazards associated with diesel.

29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1):Employees did not use eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:  At the temporary job site located at 16594 W. 165th place Olathe, Kansas, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to struck-by hazards while using a reciprocating saw to trim framing materials in that eye protection was not provided or utilized.
