29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. (a) On October 23, 2023, at or near 3325/3323 20th Avenue Northwest in Minot North Dakota, two employees and the owner were setting wooden roof trusses on a second story newly constructed residential duplex home while standing on the top plates of the exterior and interior second story walls at heights of over 18 feet without the use of fall protection systems. (b) On October 23, 2023, at or near 3325/3323 20th Avenue Northwest in Minot North Dakota, two employees were on the second story west side of the duplex exiting the window onto the garage framed trusses and walked across five trusses into the window of the second story east side duplex at heights over 11 feet without the use of fall protection systems.
