29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment being used did not used meet the requirements specified in Z 87.1-1968:    The employer was failing to protect employees from struck by hazards. This was most recently documented on October 25, 2023 at a commercial  construction jobsite located at 1104 3rd Avenue, Nebraska City, Nebraska. Employees were operating pneumatic nail guns while shingling a roof without the use of eye protection.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system:    The employer was failing to protect employees from fall hazards. This was most recently documented on October 25, 2023 at a construction jobsite located at 1104 3rd Avenue, Nebraska City, Nebraska when employees were observed working on a commercial structure. The employees were installing shingles while working at a height of approximately 8 feet 10 inches measured from the ground to eave without fall protection.
